Meet Darcy

REALTOR®
As an Army brat who married a Marine ( retired after 21 years), I know the struggle with moving and losing family time. Having lived the Military lifestyle, I am well experienced when it comes to VA loan Buyers and Sellers, and I am also a certified American Warrior Real Estate Professional. During my free time, I enjoy coaching basketball and watching our kids play soccer, basketball, baseball, football, cheerleading or even just running around outside being kids. With 4 of our 6 kids still at home and in school we lead a fun life of going to games and cheering them on! If someone was to ask me, what is my dream job? I would answer them with two words, Real Estate. Not everyone will say or even think that, however, to me it has always been a dream.

I purchased my very 1st home at the age of 20 and it was at that point where my love for real estate emerged. I love checking the housing market to see what is up and what is down, I love helping others by suggesting how to stage how to prepare for buying or listing their home, but more importantly, I love knowing that I am a part of a life-changing experience for my clients. As a dual-state licensee, I offer my expertise and guidance to those looking to buy and sell both in Northern Virginia and on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. I am that real estate agent who will drive 5 hours to be by your side through the entire process of buying and selling a home!

As a Top Producer Real Estate Agent since 2016 I have been honored with many accolades such as Washingtonian Magazine Top Agent, Northern Virginia Magazine Top Agent, and Northern Virginia Association of Real Estate Agents Top Producers awards. However, nothing is more rewarding than helping be a part of my Client’s home journey!

In 2022, I made it a mission to give back to those who can no longer care for themselves by obtaining my Nursing Assistant license and Death Doula certification and proudly working when available on-call at our local Hospice House. I did this in memory of my Father, who passed away on Christmas Day 2021 from Dementia. I was not only his daughter but also his caretaker for the last 2 years he was with us. Seeing the wonderful care Hospice provided him showed me that, yes, there is more room in my heart to not only care and commit my time to my family and clients but also to those who are at the end of life, as some don’t have that person to hold their hand and I have chosen to be that person.
